Salamanca as a city is quite compact so relying on public transportation is not required if you´re willing to walk. The old historic center is the core of all the action: nightlife, university, and shopping. A main road goes around this area; beyond this you will find apartments and residential buildings.
Bus
Any one-way ticket you take by bus will cost under 1 Euro.
Bono passes can be bought at any Caja Duero Bank for around 3€. This travel-card provides you with 10 rides for half of the price.
Taxi
You´ll be able to find Taxis available from taxi points, which you´ll find just outside of the Plaza Mayor or just outside the area of the old quarter.
Train
Easiest way to get from one town to the other is by going on the train.
